Adnyamathanha Country – the Flinders Ranges is arid country featuring the largest mountains in South Australia. The yarta (land) also consists of creeks, gorges, plains and natural springs, which are not just physical places but hold spiritual and cultural significance through our muda (stories). Adnyamathanha people, who have cared for yarta for over 60,000 years, have maintained cultural knowledge that has been passed down over generations and maintains Adnyamathanha people’s identity and cultural connection.
