This work tells a cheeky and honest story of growing up on Mum and Dad’s Country, where spirit, family, and land shaped my earliest steps. From there, it moves into the journey of leaving home—travelling across oceans and skies in search of my own path, learning what it means to belong while constantly in motion. Since leaving, I’ve lived without a fixed home, technically homeless, but never without direction. Movement became my language, and dance became my way of staying connected—to Country, to memory, to love, and to myself. “On my Way, Dancing” is about survival, freedom, and softness all at once. It holds the humour of a young spirit figuring life out, and the strength of continuing forward even when the ground keeps changing beneath you. At its core, it’s a reminder that home can live in movement, and love can be carried wherever the body chooses to go.
